DIY Vegetable Infused Dehydrated Chicken Treats

As pet owners, we want the best for our kiddos! This means a well balanced diet on top of an active healthy lifestyle. In searching for ways to include more greens in their diet, we were stumped.

Our girls do not eat vegetables.

So we figured out a simple fix, that the huskies, Lilo and Infinity, LOVE! Even Rosie, the most finicky of them all, can’t get enough.

With just three ingredients, dehydrated chicken, coconut oil, and a USDA certified organic vegan supplement called Poochie Powder, we were able to make this wholesome, highly nutritional treat that everyone loves!

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  1. Poochie Powder
  2. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
  3. Coconut Oil

Instructions:

  1. Thinly slice raw organic skinless, boneless chicken breast and place onto dehydrator racks.
  2. Plug in and leave on for 8-10 hours.
  3. After 8-10 hours, melt coconut oil and roll chicken treats in the oil.
  4. Sprinkle Poochie Powder over treats, as much or as little as you like!

Or

  1. Set your oven at 180 degrees F.
  2. Thinly slice raw organic, boneless, skinless, chicken breast
  3. place onto a cookie sheet, and then into the oven for 8-10 hours.
  4. After 8-10 hours, melt coconut oil and roll chicken treats in the oil.
  5. Sprinkle Poochie Powder over treats, as much or as little as you like!

You can do this for your pets with any type of meat or treat, they will love it and treat time becomes something you can feel good about! We take our veggie infused treats on walks and hikes as snacks for when they’re feeling peckish, it helps keep their energy up for the duration of the hike.
