San Francisco is located an hour out from San Jose and it is one of the pet friendliest cities in the Bay Area!

The Westfield shopping center in San Francisco is one of the biggest we’ve ever seen and it’s dog friendly! The mall itself allows dogs, but please ask before you enter individual stores, it’s just polite pet etiquette. It’s an awesome place to spend time with your pet and shop til’ you drop!

When exploring the city, we recommend starting at Pier 39! Pets are allowed all along the Pier. Most restaurants have pet friendly outdoor seating for our furry friends.
There’s a cool little pet store on the pier called Bow Wow & Kitty Too that sells pet gear, specialty treats, and some fascinating artwork.
We love walking around, watching the musicians play their instruments, exploring the pier, and taking photos of the pack!

The best dog friendly beach in San Francisco is Fort Funston! Park at the base and make your way down the beach where it’s basically doggy heaven! Let the dogs run off all of their energy, chase seagulls, and play in the waves until their hearts desire!
